JAKARTA – PT MNC Sekuritas organizes an Iftar event with Yayasan Al-lslah Barokah, Central Jakarta. The event as a form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Al-lslah Barokah is a social foundation established 41 years ago with a shelter of approximately 100 members of elderlies and orphans.

The event opened with the singing performance from the elderlies and Al Qur’an reading performance from the orphans.

Director of MNC Sekuritas Susy Meilina said, Ramadan, is a month of generosity and encourage the Company to share and give alms. Hopefully, this can ease the burden of the unprosperous people.

“Ramadan is a good month for us to share with elderlies and orphans,” she said at Al-Islah Barokah Foundation, Jakarta, Wednesday (5/23/2018).

She explained this activity is a routine thing held company. Last year, the company undertook a CSR program targeting diffable communities sheltered by the Yayasan Difabel Mandiri lndonesia (YDMI).

“This year we are targeting different segments of society as beneficiaries, so MNC Sekuritas can touch various circles,” she said.

MNC Sekuritas also hopes that the event and its donation can be managed properly and bring blessings in this holy month. “We certainly hope to be useful for all of them,” she added.

In this event, a donation was handed over by Susy to the Treasurer of Al-Islah Barokah Foundation & Chairman of Non-Nursing Children’s Orphanage (NPSAA) Ina Nasution.

In addition, the gift was given symbolically to representatives of elderly Rumsih and representatives of orphans Dian Utami. The event was then closed with lectures and an iftar dinner.
