Jakarta – MNC Insurance Business Group, consisting of PT MNC Life Assurance (MNC Life), PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia (MNC Insurance), and PT MNC Insurance Broker under PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BCAP), once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility through a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative titled “Harmoni Sehat & Lestari: Synergy for Health and the Environment.” The program was held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the National Museum of Indonesia and was attended by over 300 participants, including employees of the Museum and Cultural Heritage under the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage and Tradition, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.

This program was a collaborative effort between MNC Insurance Business Group, MNC Peduli, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) – particularly through the BRI Kemendikbud Branch Office – and the Museum and Cultural Heritage, highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle, environmental awareness, and financial literacy. Key activities included a health seminar, environmental education through a household waste exchange program (paper, plastic, and metal), and the provision of various free health services. Participants who brought waste were able to exchange it for free health checks in partnership with the Budi Luhur University Waste Bank. Services included blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, and uric acid screenings by Brawijaya Hospital, free eye exams by Kacamatamoo, as well as skin checks and beauty consultations by The Aesthetics Skin clinic.

Beyond focusing on health and the environment, Harmoni Sehat & Lestari also served as a financial literacy platform to introduce the importance of self-protection through insurance. Participants were introduced to the benefits of life and general insurance in maintaining personal and family financial stability. This initiative also supports broader public understanding of the need for sound financial planning as part of social and economic resilience.

In her opening remarks, Risye Dillianti, Managing Director of Insurance Business Group & President Director of MNC Life, stated that the initiative is part of the company’s concrete steps in fulfilling corporate social responsibility. “Through this program, we aim to show that health, financial literacy, and environmental preservation are interconnected. This cross-sector collaboration is a vital step toward creating wider impact, beginning with raising public awareness about the importance of maintaining physical and financial health for a better and more sustainable quality of life,” she said.

Rio Nugroho, Branch Office Head of BRI Jakarta Cut Mutiah, welcomed the collaboration, stating, “At BRI, we believe that business success is not solely measured by commercial performance but also by real contributions to society. Our synergy with MNC Insurance Business Group and the Museum and Cultural Heritage reflects our active role in supporting community health and well-being, especially for those working in the cultural sector.”

Meanwhile, Muhammad Ikbal, Head of General Affairs for the Museum and Cultural Heritage, expressed his appreciation for the program. He noted that the institution has always been open to partnerships with various stakeholders to enhance technical competencies of museum staff. Gradually, programs will be developed not only to improve technical capabilities but also to focus on sociocultural competencies and staff well-being. “Optimal health conditions certainly support employees in maintaining focus, commitment, loyalty, and more active engagement in work processes,” he added.

Through this program, MNC Insurance Business Group hopes that the spirit of collaboration will inspire others to contribute toward a healthier, financially secure, environmentally conscious, and sustainable future. MNC Peduli’s involvement further strengthens the Group’s role in uniting social efforts under the MNC Group umbrella to benefit broader society. This initiative also reinforces the company’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values as part of its transformation toward becoming a socially and environmentally responsible enterprise. By embedding ESG principles sustainably, MNC Insurance Business Group affirms its role as a financial services player focused not only on profitability but also on meaningful contributions to society and the environment.
