BALI – MNC Peduli received two awards at the Indonesian Circular Economy Award (ICEA) 2025, held in Bali on 18 November 2025. The awards serve as recognition of MNC Group’s green economy initiatives and the company’s commitment to promoting circular economy practices.
The circular economy is increasingly seen as an essential approach to reducing resource waste. This system ensures that materials do not end up as waste but can be reused. In addition to reducing environmental impact, the concept also creates green job opportunities and drives business efficiency and innovation.
Through MNC Peduli, MNC Group implements several programs aligned with this concept. The organic waste bioconversion program in office areas and the Agri Livestock Loop program in the assisted villages around the MNC Lido City Special Economic Zone are considered to provide both environmental and social benefits in a sustainable manner.
The Indonesian Circular Economy Award 2025 was received by the Director of Corporate Secretary of MNC Group, Syafril Nasution. He expressed his appreciation for the recognition and reaffirmed the company’s commitment.
“MNC Group would like to thank the ICEA organizers for the trust given to us. This award is a form of appreciation for MNC’s commitment to supporting the green economy. We are proud to be the only media company to receive an award in this category,” said Syafril.
The inaugural Indonesian Circular Economy Award 2025 was initiated by the Indonesian Circular Economy, Sustainability and Transformation (ICEST) Institute together with the National Standardization Agency (BSN). The event aims to recognize organizations that effectively and sustainably implement circular economy practices.
Chairman of the ICEST Institute, Suharman Noerman, stated that ICEA is also part of efforts to promote the ISO 59000 Series as well as the implementation of the Circular Economy Roadmap and Action Plan for Indonesia 2025–2045 launched by BSN and Bappenas.
The event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Industry. Head of the Agency for Standardization and Industrial Services Policy (BSKJI), Emi Suryandari, expressed appreciation to the award recipients. “We are very proud of the achievements of today’s industries. We hope that these initiatives can be replicated and aligned with the National Light House Circular Economy Assistance Program from the Ministry of Industry. This will help drive Indonesia toward becoming an advanced industrial nation in line with the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision,” she said.
Chairman of the Expert Council of the ICEST Institute and jury member, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Prasetiya, M.Sc, emphasized that the Indonesian Circular Economy Award aligns with global commitments following the introduction of the ISO 59000 Series. “ICEA 2025 is presented in line with the global commitment to the ISO 59000 Series. ICEA can serve as a performance benchmark for circular practices in Indonesia and encourage strategic partnerships to strengthen circular economy movements and actions nationwide,” he said.
This achievement further strengthens MNC Peduli’s position in expanding the implementation of the circular economy and supporting sustainable development in Indonesia.
