PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk or MNC Bank (stock code: BABP) is a subsidiary of MNC Kapital that engages in full-service banking activities. MNC Bank became a part of MNC Kapital through shares acquisitions of PT Bank ICB Bumiputera Tbk in early 2014. MNC Kapital later obtained the approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to be the controlling shareholder and subsequently made changes to the logo and name of the bank.

MNC Bank offers banking products and services which include savings products, loan facilities, debit and credit cards, treasury and trade finance, focusing on consumer, wholesale and small to medium enterprises segment. MNC Bank also provides mobile and internet banking and is currently developing a state-of-the-art banking system to become a major player in digital banking.

MNC Bank continues to invest in information technology, increase the number of ATMs in each branch. MNC Bank has launched several mobile applications that target various customer segments, including debit and credit cardholders, property loan customers and corporate customers. Today, MNC Bank has 55 branches in 16 major cities in Indonesia with a total of 138 distribution networks (Branch + ATM). Furthermore, MNC Bank works together with the National Payment Gateway (GPN), Jaringan Prima, and ATM Bersama, hence providing its customers with access to more than 169,000 ATMs.

In order to achieve a more solid financial performance, MNC Bank will continue to focus on its key strategic plans which include growing sustainable and prudent loans, acquiring low-cost funding, increasing fee-based businesses, building a robust digital platform, strengthening risk management, as well as improving efficiency and effectiveness. MNC Bank will strengthen synergies with other business units within MNC Group to obtain a diverse and large number of customer databases. In addition, MNC Bank will continue to enhance its Digital Banking Platform to support its vision towards Branchless Banking.

Currently, MNC Bank has been categorized under the Commercial Bank Business Group (BUKU) 2, with a core capital of over Rp1 trillion. In the next 3 to 4 years, MNC Bank is targeted to be in the BUKU 3 category with a minimum core capital of Rp5 trillion.
